Central Carolina Surgery in Greensboro, NC
Central Carolina Surgery, PA was founded in October of 1999 when Triad Surgical Specialists and Greensboro Surgical Associates joined together to form the sole independent general surgery group in Greensboro, NC. Our surgeons are all board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and are members of the American College of Surgeons (ACS). The letters FACS (Fellow, American College of Surgeons) after a surgeon’s name mean that the surgeon’s training, professional qualifications, surgical competence, and ethical conduct meet the high standards established by the College.
In 2003, Central Carolina Surgery developed a bariatric surgery program as an option for weight loss. Several CCS surgeons participate in this program and are members of the American Society of the Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS). Our bariatric program has received “Center of Excellence” designation and offers a comprehensive weight-loss program with nutritional support.
The surgeons of CCS perform surgery in Greensboro at facilities affiliated with Cone Health as well as the Surgical Center of Greensboro. In order to offer top-quality comprehensive surgical care to patients across central North Carolina, we have additional offices in Asheboro and Burlington and operate at Randolph Hospital and Alamance Regional Medical Center.
